What to Expect in a Session With Me
I am passionate about creating a welcoming and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable to share, explore, and grow. Our time together is devoted to understanding and navigating the complexities of life, and I am committed to fostering trust and connection in our work.
With experience supporting individuals, children, and couples of all ages, I am proud to provide a safe and affirming space for everyone, including those in the LGBTQ+ community, seeking therapeutic care.
My approach prioritizes empathy, understanding, and the best interests of my clients at every step. In addition to my social work practice, I am the author of several self-help books designed to empower individuals to overcome challenges and lead fulfilling lives. My writing reflects my dedication to providing accessible tools for personal growth and well-being.
A Little Bit About Me
Before pursuing social work, I worked as an attorney and government relations professional. This background has deepened my ability to engage with diverse perspectives and advocate for my clients effectively.
I have called Richmond home for 27 years, and it has been the perfect place to live, work, and raise a family.
I reside in Richmond with my husband, our daughter, and our two beloved dogs. I enjoy exploring Richmond’s vibrant neighborhoods, spending time in our beautiful parks, and discovering the city’s amazing restaurants.
I look forward to partnering with you to create a fulfilling and meaningful life.
