Licensed Clinical Supervisor

RVA Counseling is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated LCSW Clinical Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive clinical experience, and a commitment to providing high-quality supervision to our team of clinicians. As an LCSW Clinical Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of effective and ethical mental health services to our clients and providing guidance to our licensed and pre-licensed clinicians as well as our interns.
Position: Licensed Clinical Supervisor, Full Time
Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical supervision to a team of talented mental health professionals.

This includes working with interns, Residents in Counseling as well as fully licensed clinicians.

Demonstrate leadership by fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Ensure the highest standard of client care through effective supervision and support.

Meet with interns weekly for supervision
-
Meet with pre-licensed clinicians at least once every other week
-
Offer at least twice per month group supervision once your team exceeds 3

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.

Staff development- meet with fully licensed staff at least twice per year to engage in professional development planning and follow up

Collaborate with other supervisors to enhance the overall quality of our mental health services.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform and improve our clinical approaches.

Hiring- seeking, interviewing and onboarding new staff and interns
-
Creation and facilitation of no less than two clinical development events per year in office (such as trainings/ CEU events)

Weekly case note and billing overview to all clinical staff on your team
-
Maintain practice Clinical Handbook to include updates and revisions as needed
-
Provide HR support to the clinical staff and assist in facilitating communication between clinicians and leadership

Act as a core part of the leadership team and participate in weekly staff meetings

Maintain a clinical caseload providing counseling services to clients, 12-15 clients per week

Complete 4 prime shifts per month (prime shifts are considered to be sessions held 5pm or later on weekdays or a weekend shift)​

Carry out role with 75% of your work hours spent in the office

Qualifications:
-
Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Certification as an Clinical Supervisor or equivalent credential
-
Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, with a demonstrated track record of providing effective therapy and clinical supervision

Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards governing the practice of counseling, social work, and psychotherapy

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback and support to supervisees
